German-American Broadway composer.
Born in Posen, Germany 21 February 1886.
Died in New York City, New York 12 July 1978.
Brother of songwriter Gus Edwards and music publisher and vaudeville talent agent Ben Edwards. He was also the uncle of singer Joan Edwards and songwriter Jack Edwards.
He wrote music for the Ziegfeld Follies for over a decade.
