Luna 9

Lûnâ Nïnê is a hip-hop alias of Max Machaidze, Georgian electronic/experimental musician, activist, and fashion designer. The moniker is inspired by a Soviet uncrewed spacecraft Luna 9 ("Луна-9" in Russian), which successfully landed on the Moon in February 1966.

Machaidze began recording and producing music around 2013, with one of his debut music videos, "dark tale," directed by Tamuna Karumidze, a member of [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/9485131]Goslab[/url] artistic collective. He also released music on his web-label LTFR, often using Luna999 alias. In 2013, Luna 9 performed on "Live @ Twilight," a show hosted by Natalie Beridze on a Georgian TV channel Artarea TV.
