Max Machaidze

Maxime Machaidze (b. 1995) is a Georgian hip-hop artist, beatmaker, electronic music producer, activist, and fashion designer from Tbilisi. Max's father is a renowned electronic musician and filmmaker Nika Machaidze.

Machaidze dropped out of high school in 9th grade to pursue his music career. He raps as Luna 9 and formed a hip-hop trio KayaKata with [a11727245] ([a173291]) and Nikoloz Sabanadze. Circa November 2014, Max Machaidze established a web-based independent music label and street fashion brand LTFR. Machaidze subsequently relaunched a clothing/jewellery line with his wife, Iri Todriashvili, under a new Sadaawhere? brand. Their studio is based at Stamba Hotel, a former Soviet-era printing house in Tbilisi, Georgia. Machaidze provided artworks and installations for the hotel's rooms, lobby and other public areas.
