Formed in January 2000, the band consists of Brent Hinds (guitar, vocals), Bill Kelliher (guitar), Troy Sanders (bass, vocals) and Brann Dailor (drums, vocals). Mastodon also initially included Eric Saner (vocals), who left after the band recorded their first demo.
