Polish composer, arranger, pianist, organist and vocalist (born April 13, 1940 in Warsaw; died: December 22, 2011). He debuted in 1963 as a pianist, in 1964 he composed the first song. Since 1971, leading his own musical group primarily involved in instrumental music. Since 1973, he creates music for film, and since 1974 - also to the theater. In 1974 he founded the studio orchestra Piotr Figiel Ensemble. He collaborated with many stars of Polish show: Ewa Bem, Maryla Rodowicz, Jerzy Połomski, Urszula Sipińska, Anna Jantar, Irena Jarocka and many others singers. Brother of Maria Figiel.
