Rau_Ze

Rau_Ze est un duo d’auteurs-compositeurs-interprètes composé de Rose Perron et de Félix Paul. Ensemble, ils explorent leur complémentarité pour offrir une musique cohésive, ressentie et accrocheuse, alliant excellemment le côté cartésien de Félix à l’approche intuitive de Rose.

Révélation Radio-Canada 2024-25, la formation aux sonorités R&B et néo-soul tire ainsi son originalité de la variété de ses influences : du jazz à la pop Y2K en passant par le hip-hop, le néo-soul, le funk et le trip-hop des années 90. Au niveau de l’écriture, ils priorisent l’emploi d’un vocabulaire authentique et familier ; les expériences marquantes dont il est question dans leurs chansons sont abordées avec le langage qui semble avoir été utilisé pour les vivre. Ensemble, ils ont pour objectif d’offrir une musique corrosive, mais irrésistiblement dansante, profonde et engagée.

A Radio-Canada revelation in 2024-25, the band with R&B and neo-soul sounds draws its originality from the variety of its influences: from jazz to Y2K pop, via hip-hop, neo-soul, funk and 90s trip-hop. In terms of writing, they prioritize the use of authentic and familiar vocabulary; the significant experiences discussed in their songs are approached with the language that seems to have been used when experiencing them. Together, their goal is to offer music that is corrosive but irresistibly danceable, deep and engaged.
