Seven Thorns

Seven Thorns was founded in 1998 by Lars Borup (drummer) and Dr. No (guitarist), but was put on hold in 2000, both members pursuing other activities. In 2003 Lars started up the project again and was joined by Mik Holm. The line-up was completed towards the end of 2004.

The first single, 'Artificial Night', was released beginning 2005. Mik left the band when the band's musical direction changed due to the new members. When he left, Seven Thorns was put on hold again while Lars continued with the other band members in a new group called 7thorns. The new venture did not work out and was ended in 2007. Lars and Mik then decided to work together again as Seven Thorns. In 2008 guitarist Gabriel Tuxen joined the band, later also guitarist Christian Strøjer Balslev and bassist Nicolaj Marker were added to the line-up. Mik decided his vocals were not good enough to lead the band, so Erik Ez Blomkvist took over on lead vocals. Keyboardist Asger Waagner Nielsen completed the line-up later in 2009. Mikkel Henderson also participated on keyboards.
