Inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame (1960) and the Western Swing Society Hall of Fame (1989) Member of the Hoffman Hayride (KTLA-TV) and the Town Hall Party Compton, Ca. His career ended in 1961 when he was convicted for the murder of his second wife.
