    Classical brass player (bass trombone, trombone, euphonium, tuba, sackbut) and teacher.

    He studied at The Guildhall School Of Music & Drama from 1969 to 1972 under Denis Wick and was then a founder member of such ensembles as the London Classical Players, Orchestra Of The Age Of Enlightenment and The Academy Of Ancient Music. He played for 18 years with the National Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1992, he took the position of principal Bass Trombone with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Former member of the Amsterdam-based Orchestra Of The 18th Century, Orchestre Révolutionnaire Et Romantique, [a=English Baroque Soloists]. Bass sackbut with His Majestys Sagbutts And Cornetts.
    In musical education, he has been a teacher of the sackbut and trombone at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
