A neoclassical power metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, founded in 1996 by the guitarist and mastermind Thomas Wolf. In April 1998 Stormwind became the first Swedish rock band to perform at the Cannes film festival and after this Wolf made the decision to put up a stable line-up and he recruited Thomas Vikström on vocals, Patrik Johansson on drums, Andreas Olsson on bass and Kaspar Dahlqvist on keyboards.
