The Britannia Building Society Band

In June 1986, the company Overseas Technical Services decided that funding Foden's OTS Band would be ceased. In July 1986, the band accepted sponsorship from the Britannia Building Society becoming the Britannia Building Society Foden Band (officially from December 3, 1987). 'Foden' was dropped from the band's name in December 1988. The sponsorship lasted until 28 July 1997, when the band accepted new sponsorhip and became Foden's Courtois Band.
