"All rock and roll was meant to be fun, pure and simple, that's the bottomline", says vocalist/bassist Mini Mendez, in describing the vibe of The Glimmer Stars. Mendez, along with Steven Soto (guitar) and Richie Mendez (drums), having been writing and gigging for more than a few decades and seem to be showing no signs of slowing down. After landing on a couple of cool compilations (Not Lame, Radio Beat), the band released their self-titled full-length debut in 2005 and is rumored (although we're not sure by whom) to be exchanging hands for small wads of cash. Two more full-lengths, several EPs, and a handful of singles, make up the remainder of the G-Star credit list.
