Swedish presenter, artist and actor, born March 3, 1947 in Örgryte parish in Gothenburg, died May 25, 2014 in Katarina parish in Stockholm.

During the 1960s Tommy Blom was a singer and front figure in the pop band Tages with hit songs like "Sleep Little Girl", "I Should Be Happy", "Don't Turn Your Back", "The One For You", "So Many Girls" , and "In My Dreams" as well as "Miss Mac Bar", "Every Raindrop Means A Lot", "I'm Going Out", "Treat Her Like A Lady" on Top Ten.

In 1968 Blom resigned from Tages and invested in a solo career. That same year, the first single "You Can Find Some Here" was released. In 1969 came the second single "The Butterfly of Love" and the following year number three "Haru 'been me" about the "sometime?". He also did modeling jobs with his wife Mai Nielsen.

During the 70s, Blom handled bookings for Magnus Uggla and Basse Wickman. He was also a producer and court masters and performed as a troubadour at various entertainment venues. He then moved to Mallorca and became tour manager for Club 33 and later hotel owners for a few years in the 80's.

In the mid-1990s, Blom became the program manager at Vinyl 107.1 radio station, where he could be heard daily from 9 am to 3 pm until 2008. In 2011, he returned to the program and broadcast the 60's morning at the station every Sunday. Prior to Vinyl 107.1, he worked as a music teacher at the Kvarnbäck school in Haninge.

In recent years he started the pop group Idolerna together with Svenne Hedlund from Hep Stars, Lalla Hansson from Fabulous Four and Lennart Grahn from Shanes. He was also a member of The Cadillac Band from 2007. The Cadillac Band usually played Elvis's original musicians such as guitarist James Burton. They have performed together with Elvis drummer D.J. Fontana and James Burton. Blom received a TCB (jewelry) by Elvis pianist Glen D. Hardin in 2008, and toured with B.B. Cunningham was a sixth member of The Cadillac band until he was murdered in Memphis in 2012.

Blom made Mr. Crab's voice in the children's series SpongeBob Square at Nickelodeon.

Tommy Blom was married to Mai Blom (born 1949) since 1969 and had two sons, born in 1969 and 1973.
