Wicked Lady

NOT TO BE Confused with the other older British Hard Rock band Wicked Lady from Nottingham UK of the 1960s and 1970s. This second Wicked Lady band were an all female quartet formed in England during 1974 and quickly specialized in original Rock N Roll in a very similar Rock style to the North American all-girl band Fanny of about the same generation. Wicked Lady always kept a low profile in eight years but managed to record some interesting Demos with several Singles making them quickly popular in the UK, in Benelux and in Germany where they performed several concerts in these countries during their career. The band later adopted a heavier style after 1980 resembling closer to early BonJovi. However their only original studio album called "Flying To America" LP was recorded in the UK some time in 1981 and its a collection of all their original Singles but this LP somehow remains unreleased as Wicked Lady disbanded later that year.
