Former member of Parliament-Funkadelic. Known as The Queen of Funk. Mallia was an original member of Parlet with Debbie Wright and Jeanette Washington. She left the group at the halfway mark of recording Parlet's second album. Mallia was married to drummer Nate Neblett of The [a=Nite-Liters] and New Birth. They had one child, Seth Neblett. She appeared in Prince's 1990 film with P-Funk leader- George Clinton in "Graffiti Bridge."
Mallia has recorded and written with Snoop Dogg while he was with Death Row in the 90's. She also worked with Death Row alum- RBX and Quaze. She was featured on a duet with Lenny Kravitz for an unreleased remix disc of his song "Believe In Me." Mallia was also the person who connected Dr. Dre with Roger Troutman (Zapp) in the 90's. That introduction brought forth the hit song "California Love" for Tupac.
